The AR4FOOD project, part of the KA210-VET small-scale partnership, aims to revolutionize vocational education in the food industry through augmented reality (AR) technology. Coordinated by the Thematic School of Advanced Vocational Training in Egaleo, Greece, this initiative fosters digital transformation by creating immersive learning modules that simulate real-world food production environments. Running from December 30, 2022, to December 29, 2024, with a grant of €60,000, the project delivers innovative AR tools, interactive training materials, and a collaborative online platform. These resources empower educators, students, and industry stakeholders to explore food safety, sustainability practices, and production processes in an engaging and practical way. Illustration: Imagine a virtual food production line, accessible through AR glasses or mobile devices. Learners navigate through different production stages, interact with machinery, and receive instant feed.
